국민연금 환급금The National Pension Refund is the amount refunded in cases where premiums have been overpaid due to double or mistaken payment of insurance premiums. If a refund has occurred, it can be checked online.
What is a refund?
1. This refers to the amount incurred when the national pension insurance premium needs to be refunded due to double or mistaken payment.
2. If the national pension premium paid is notified as normal, but a refund of the premium is required due to retroactive loss of pension subscriber eligibility or retroactive reduction adjustment according to submitted data, a refund will be issued.
3. If the 10-year subscription period for the National Pension has not been completed and the payment period has expired and you are no longer a pension beneficiary or are not eligible for survivor pension due to the subscriber’s death, it will be replaced with a refund.
4. A cancellation refund is issued when the national pension is canceled due to overseas migration or loss of nationality.
Refund precautions
1. When a refund is generated, you must apply for national pension within 5 years and health insurance within 3 years to avoid it being cancelled.
2. Subscribers can apply for a refund online or after visiting the branch.
How to apply
1. National Pension subscribers can apply for a refund by visiting a National Pension Service branch in person.
2. Apply for the National Pension Service branch mail service.
3. You can apply for a refund in the same way as the online website using the official smartphone app provided by the National Pension Service.
4. You can check and apply for refund using the National Pension Service website or related pension website.
You can immediately check the National Pension National Pension’s expected receipt amount through the ‘Refund Payment Details Inquiry Service’ provided by the National Pension Service [Go].
1-1. After accessing the National Pension Service Electronic Civil Service website, select the ‘Personal Service’ menu located at the top of the page.
1-2. To use the National Pension Service’s electronic civil service service, both individuals and businesses must go through the authentication process. There are various authentication methods, including public certificates, joint certificates, and web service authentication.
1-3. You cannot use the refund inquiry service without going through the authentication process. If there is a problem or difficulty with public authentication, you can check whether or not you will receive a refund after personal authentication by visiting a nearby branch or by phone.
By using the service provided by the National Pension Electronic Civil Service, you can not only check your refund, but also check the amount of your National Pension and the insurance premiums you have paid.
2-1. When the National Pension Service’s electronic civil service website is opened, you can check the entire service menu provided. To use the refund inquiry service, search for “Inquiry – Charge Payment Details”.
2-2. In the tax payment history, find Overpayment Inquiry or Refund Payment Details Inquiry and click one option.
You must log in through authentication to use the refund service. Authentication includes simple authentication, joint authentication, and web portal login. You only need to select one and go through the authentication process.
3. The login process using simple authentication is used equally for personal authentication, such as joint authentication, financial institutions, and web portal sites. Select one authentication method to conveniently log in and proceed with the login process.
(If simple authentication, certificate, or pay login does not proceed normally, change to a PC or mobile device to connect, or install a firewall security program under login.)
You can check the refund details on the overpayment and refund payment history service page, and if you have a refund, you can use the online refund request service.
4-1. The refund details can be checked by checking the overpayment details. If the information is blank, it means that the refund has not occurred. If there is an inquiry history, you can check the date of occurrence of the refund and the expected prescription date.
4-2. If the refund amount has been inquired, select Request for refund for overpayment below and proceed with the refund request.
(You can check your refund at the National Pension Service, but payments are made by the National Health Insurance Corporation, and you can also check your refund at the National Health Insurance Corporation.)
