How to register for use of Shinhan Card
Since the card was received through an agent, immediate use is not possible. You must register for card use through the website, application, or customer center. You need to update the basic information in the homepage (application) → Card → Issuance inquiry/registration → Card use registration to use it. If you receive the card yourself, the person who delivers the card will finish this part for you, so you can use it right away.

Card use registration is very simple as you only need to enter your date of birth, gender, card number, CVC number, and card password as shown below. When the card use registration is completed in this way, the existing card is immediately suspended without taking any action. (That is, you can continue to use your old card until you receive a new one.)

In this case, you can manually enter the card number and other information by selecting Manually input card at the bottom of the screen.
In addition, the manual input screen automatically skips after a certain period of time passes from the card registration screen through the previous camera. Manually fill in all the information displayed on the card, starting with the card number.
After entering all of the card information in this way and proceeding to the next step, you can complete the Samsung Pay card registration using the biometric authentication method you have set in advance.

In the pop-up setting window that appears, select Delete Card. Deleting the Samsung Pay card is not recommended because the card is not visible only on the payment screen, but the card information remains in the Samsung Pay app.
