Tips for Lost Find My AirPods
에어팟 찾기
Everyone ha~~~up~~! nice to meet. is an information repository. Did everyone have a fresh start to the new week? Of course, I guess everyone must have had a very exhausting day on the occasion of Happy Sunday. It’s because the writer also has a hard time adapting to work on Monday after resting comfortably on the weekend. All office workers and self-employed people in our country are fighting today as well.
Today, I would like to post a topic related to Apple like an app. It’s not a very grandiose topic, but I would like to introduce a simple yet very practical tip. What is that?! It’s about ‘AirPods’.
As the technology developed gradually after the appearance of the first generation of AirPods, and as the trend changed, the number of people using wired earphones decreased, and on the contrary, the number of people using Bluetooth earphones gradually began to increase. In fact, I personally feel that the design of the AirPods came out so pretty, and besides, it is a product that greatly enhances our quality of life, so I also think that it will be difficult for me to use wired earphones any more.
However, in the case of AirPods, it is easy to lose them, and it can be even more difficult for those who have used wired earphones for a long time. So today, I’m going to post about ‘Find My AirPods Lost Tips’ by reflecting your difficulties. Actually, it’s not difficult, and it’s not too difficult because it’s easy to do if you link it with Bluetooth. The materials to prepare are by far the iPhone and AirPods. I haven’t tried it on my Android phone, but since the app itself is only available on iPhone, it’s likely that Android users won’t be able to use it. First of all, today’s post is for the people of the app, so please understand.
Brilliant AirPods!-
In fact, in the case of general wired earphones, many of them are very cheap, so I didn’t think it was such a waste even if I lost them. Not only was the price cheap, but I think it belongs to the axis with a very high involvement in the purchase because you can go to the convenience store right in front of you and buy another earphone with an amount of about 10,000 won.
However, as I bought and used the iPhone and used Apple accessories at the same time, I had no choice but to use expensive Apple accessories in terms of compatibility and design. I felt like a slave to Apple, but after purchasing it, the satisfaction was always high, so I used it with satisfaction without any problems. But the problem starts here.
It’s expensive, so it’s a waste if you lose it.
Basically, all of Apple’s products are showing at least 1.5 to 2 times the price compared to general electronic device brands. First of all, since the price range is high, it is natural to think that it is a waste if you lose it. And I’m going to put a lot of effort into not losing it. Even if you just look at the AirPods right now, the price range is around 300,000 won for the pro model and around 200,000 won for the 2nd generation, so if you lose it, it will bleed that much.
Of course, since the price range is high, you will take good care of yourself, but humans are animals that constantly repeat mistakes. That’s why it’s easy to lose even if it’s a little loose. At this time, if you are using an iPhone, you will be able to find the location of the AirPods with one application provided by Apple. So how do I find my AirPods? Of course, I have briefly mentioned this in a post related to AirPods before. But let’s take a closer look at it today.

iPhone XR has a ‘Find My’ app in the default apps.
Please note that my iPhone model is ‘iPhone XR’ and the software version is 13.4.1. I’m not sure, but I think it’s all there since version 13.4. First, go to the ‘Find My’ app on your iPhone. It’s a default installed app, so if you search for it, you’ll find it. Just looking at it, it is an image of an application that seems to be able to find an Apple device that I lost or forgot where I put it. Let’s run it with a gentle tap.
When you run it, you will first be asked if you want to allow the location. In fact, if you want to find something, location permission is essential!
Apple’s apps are so amazing.
If you run it, the device items logged in to my APPLE ID will appear. In my case, I can see that the iPhone (XR, iPhone 7 used before the change), MacBook, and AirPod are automatically linked and registered. Here, you can tap the device you want to find. As today’s topic is Find My AirPods, let’s tap the AirPods.
If you tap the AirPods, ‘Sound Play’ and ‘Route’ menus will appear. I don’t know why the ‘Path’ tab seems to have no reaction when I tap it. It’s my guess, but at the time of posting, the AirPods were right next to me, so it seems that there is no need to indicate the route due to the street location. If you are far away, the function seems to work, but it is not certain, so let’s just refer to it.
The item we will focus on today is the ‘sound playback’ function. If you are far away, you can use the route menu, but if you throw the AirPods where you are at home and forget where you put them later, the AirPods themselves play a sound to help you find them. Tap Play Sound and the sound will play after 1-3 seconds.
If you want to find only one, you can make only one sound.
When you play the sound, you will hear a mechanical ‘du-du-du’ sound. At first, I felt it was small, but it was groundless. It sounds quite loud, so it seems to be a sound that can be found comfortably unless the current location is extremely noisy. For reference, if you want to find only one side of the sound, you can adjust the sound playback by tapping the left or right side as shown in the picture on the left. And once you’ve found it, you can stop the sound from playing by tapping the “Stop” button in the middle.
And when the Find My AirPods sound is played, an email is automatically sent to my mailbox saying that the sound has been played as shown in the picture on the right. This seems to be a verification process to prevent identity verification and hacking. I wanted to recommend it to you because I used it quite usefully when I forgot where I put my AirPods for sound reproduction.
It was charging.. haha
In fact, when I was about to write a post, I didn’t know where I put the AirPods, so I looked for sound playback. However, the sound was very loud, so when I looked right next to it, I must have been charging it by connecting it to a computer! Of course, I almost lost or damaged it because I didn’t put the bean sprouts (?) in the charger, but I think I found it. Like this, you can use it quite usefully by playing the Find My AirPods sound.
Today, I posted about tips for finding my AirPods when I lost them for apps like me. Since all Apple devices are expensive products, management is bound to be very important. Basically, take good care of yourself, but if you lose it like me in an emergency situation, let’s actively utilize the ‘Find My’ app function. So that’s all for today’s post! hello everyone
