Issue a passport information certificate online
If you want to issue it online, you can do so on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs passport information website or the Government 24 website. I will tell you how to issue it on the Government 24 website.
If you issue it on Government 24, the cost is free.
Go to Government 24, log in, and search for ‘passport information certificate’ in the search bar.
Then, as shown in the captured screen above, you will see a shortcut to the passport information certificate issuance (Korean) service.
Select ‘Online issuance/self-printing’ for the receipt method.
Click ‘View passport information’ in the applicant information and select the receipt method. At this time, if you want to print or save it as a PDF, select ‘Online issuance (self-printing)’ for the receipt method.
Now, if you go to MyGov and go to My Application History – Service Application History, you will see the issuance history of the passport information certificate you just applied for.
If you go to Government24 My Application History, you can check the issuance history.
Now, if you click on Document Print, you can receive a passport information certificate (Korean or English).
If you want to save it as a PDF, click on Print and change the ‘Target’ to Save as PDF, and you can save it on your PC.
If you receive it from Government24, it is free. I looked it up and found that it is free to issue online, but if you visit, there is a 1,000 won issuance fee, so please keep that in mind.
