티맵 모의주행I always use T-map when driving. There is also a genuine navigation system installed in a car, but it is because the T-map screen configuration is very convenient and has many additional features. One of those convenient additional features is the T-map driving simulation. The implementation method is also very simple.
– Open the T-map app and search for the destination you want to go to in the search bar.
– Then, instead of clicking the Guide button right away, click the ‘Details’ button at the bottom.
– After pressing the detail button, the ‘simulated driving’ button appears at the bottom of the screen.
– As soon as you press the simulated driving button, driving starts immediately. Just like driving in real life, the location in the navigation will continuously move. It’s not driving practice, but it seems possible enough for route practice and route simulation.
However, if the destination is 40 minutes away, you cannot watch the T-map mock driving for 40 minutes as if you were driving a real car, right? If you touch the screen while driving simulation function is in operation, the remote control button will appear as shown below. First of all, the remote control has a function to adjust the speed by X1, X2, X4, a pause function, and a map zoom in/out function. And there are also ‘next’ and ‘previous’ buttons to quickly move through courses you are already familiar with or straight ahead. If you press the ‘Next’ button, the navigation location moves to the next corner or toll gate.
The T-map simulated driving (virtual driving) function does not seem to be a function that will be used very often, but it can be used often for novice drivers or first-time drivers. It’s not exactly the same as driving in real life, but you can see in advance which road to take while driving to your destination, and whether there are any confusing roads along the way. I know that genuine car navigation does not usually have this function. It can be seen as an advantage of T-map itself.
