사회복지사가 하는 일You can find detailed information about social workers.
We provide assistance and support to people experiencing various social and personal problems occurring in modern society, such as youth, the elderly, women, families, and the disabled, by diagnosing and evaluating the problems using professional knowledge in social welfare and social science. The person in charge is called a social worker.
Social workers are basically required to have a spirit of service and the ability to acquire professional knowledge and skills and apply them in the field, and must comply with the social worker code of ethics during their work.
Social workers are divided into levels 1 and 2. Social worker level 1 can only be acquired by passing the national examination, and social worker level 2 can be acquired by completing the subjects specified in the law or completing specific education training (Article 2, Paragraph 1, Annex 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Social Welfare Service Act) ).
There are many different areas in which you can work after obtaining a social worker license. Additionally, the expertise required for each area is different.
While learning about the social worker certification process, build knowledge about each area of activity and think in advance about the area that suits you or in which you would like to be active.
