In fact, I think the best use for time-lapse shooting with a smartphone is in the field of engineering. Because time-lapse requires a long camera installation. If the main phone is used for time lapse, the battery will be consumed quickly due to phone calls, kakaotalk messages, alarm messages, etc., and the process will be too busy to stop.
When shooting time lapses such as sunrise or sunset, you can install a camera using a tripod in a place with a good view and just wait. And after 1-2 hours, you just have to check the video. Data exchange with the main phone was very convenient using the built-in Quick Share function of the smartphone.

I think the shooting time was about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The recorded video data is a high-capacity video because it is a video, but it was imported to the main phone by using the inter-galaxy content transfer function called ‘Quick Share’. The performance of the main phone is slightly better than that of the mechanical phone, so it is advantageous for editing.

I kept getting calls and KakaoTalk calls on my main smartphone, which interfered with the time-lapse shooting.
So I gave up halfway through. Still, I waited patiently for the sun to completely disappear.
