Notes on Marine Corps unit deployment
In the case of Marine Corps recruits, they are notified of their deployment unit results via text message to their parents’ mobile phones on the afternoon of Tuesday of the 6th week of training. You can also check unit placement results on the Marine Corps website.
Marine Corps trainees conduct open unit deployment on Friday of the 5th week. Unit placement results will be sent via text message to parents and posted on the lesson group website before 17:00 on the first Monday of June.
The guidelines and procedures for visiting after deployment to the Marine Corps unit (practical service) are slightly different for each unit. Therefore, it is best to contact the relevant unit after deployment to confirm.
