※ Depending on the activity support institution, some institutions do not provide on-site training, so in the case of such institutions, individuals must contact the activity support institution directly to find a practice site where practice is possible.
After completing a total of 50 hours of training, including activities at the training institution, it can be issued immediately when the training log arrives at the relevant activity support institution. ※ If the completion certificate is lost, a re-issuance fee will be incurred, and re-issuance is possible.
The unit price for the 2023 Disabled Activity Support Company is 15,570 won. However, KRW 15,570 is the general unit price applied during weekday work, and KRW 23,350 during late night hours (after 22:00 and before 6:00 PM) and on public holidays or Labor Day. It is 1.5 times the regular price.
Here, the additional allowance is an additional allowance paid to activity support workers who help people with severe disabilities. Severely disabled people often avoid activity support workers due to the difficulty of their work, so measures were taken to alleviate this phenomenon. ※ The unit price is not the hourly rate that activity support workers receive.
The hourly wage for disabled activity support workers in 2023 is 11,678 won. If you work late at night or on public holidays, you get paid 1.5 times, so it is 17,513 won.
The reason the hourly wage is lower than the unit price is that the salary is paid by independent living centers for the disabled or welfare centers for the disabled that link disabled activity support workers with the disabled. Up to 25% of the unit price of disabled activity support staff of 15,570 won is excluded as center operating expenses, and the remaining amount is paid. Because the wages are paid, the hourly wage is less than the unit price. Since 25% is the legal maximum amount a center can take, the exclusion percentage may vary for each center. Therefore, getting a job at a center that takes as little money as possible can lead to high hourly wages.
