There is a fee of 400 won per copy if you visit a community center to get it issued, but if you get it issued online, you can print it out for free in 2 to 3 minutes.

Free issuance of a resident registration certificate online is possible after identity verification, and if you have a printer, you can choose the issuance type yourself, making it more convenient.

Please note that the authenticity of a resident registration copy can only be verified for 90 days from the date of issuance, so the verification office requires a copy issued within 3 months.

1. Search for ‘Government 24’ in a search engine or click the link below to access the Government 24 site.

2. There are frequently visited services in the middle of the main screen.

Click the resident registration copy (abstract copy) icon.

3. Click Apply at the bottom of the box.

4. You can apply as a member or non-member, but I will conveniently apply as a non-member.

5. I agree to the guidance on collection and use of personal information and the guidance on collection of unique identification information.

 

If you scroll down to the bottom, there is a field to enter non-member application information.

You only need to enter the parts marked in red. These are three things: name, resident registration number, and input confirmation.

6. You can select the address up to the club level.

As for the issuance type, if there are no special requirements from the submission destination, simply select issuance.

 

When making selective issuance, there is a check box so you can select several options.

 

▶ Past address changes: If there has been a change in address, the existing address is included. If you move frequently, multiple copies of your certificate may be printed.

 

▶ Household composition information: When you select the reason for generation formation, date of generation formation, and reason for change, it will be displayed at the top of the transcript.

 

▶ Household member information: Relationship with household head, cohabitation, reason for change, date of occurrence/report date, names of household members other than those eligible for issuance, etc. are displayed in the text.

If you only want to cover the last digits of a household member’s resident registration number, simply check the household member information box and apply.

These days, most people do not require the last digits of the resident registration number, but there are cases where it is absolutely necessary, so you should inquire in advance with the submission office.

 

▶ Last digit of resident registration number: Select this if you want to mask (displayed as ***) the name of a household member and the last 6 digits of the resident registration number.

 

 

The method of receipt is to print it out online, so select Online issuance (print in person) and click Apply for complaint.

7. You must authenticate yourself using simple authentication or a joint certificate (formerly a public certificate).

Select the most convenient method among the two to complete the authentication process.

8. If the screen moves and the processing status in the service application details is set to completed, printing is possible.

Click the Print Document button.

In the screen above, instead of selecting a printer, select Destination – Save as PDF and then press the Save button. A path where you can save under a different name will appear and a PDF file will be created.
