KEPCO Energy Cashback is a program provided by Korea Electric Power Corporation from 2022 with the goal of reducing energy consumption and reducing electricity bills. It is a system that rewards customers who save energy through electricity savings with cashback. It is a good opportunity to receive economic benefits while contributing to environmental protection through energy conservation. Energy Cashback is a benefit that is only provided to those who apply, so please apply and receive cashback! Customers excluded from participation

There is no specific application period for the energy cashback. You can watch it anytime, 365 days a year.
Since there is no application period, it is easy to postpone the application. It is easy to forget if you postpone it, so please apply right away!

Cashback calculation from the month including the application date*
*Refers to the applicant’s electricity bill calculation period, not the 1st to the last day of the calendar
✅ Cashback calculation method
Savings (kWh) = Average usage for the same period of the previous 2 years – Usage for the saving activity period
Savings rate (%) = Amount saved for the relevant period / Average usage for the same period of the previous 2 years * 100

Cashback calculated each month is reflected when the next month’s electricity bill is billed
If the applicant’s address changes during the cashback calculation period, cashback payment will be excluded and cashback must be reapplied for based on the changed address. Previously, cashback was paid out in cash, donation, and electricity bill deduction methods, but in order to improve inconveniences such as additional personal information input for account registration for cash payment, it has been unified to a method of deducting when charging electricity bills starting in the second half of 2023. In other words, you cannot receive cashback directly in cash.
