Free rental of wheelchairs by the National Health Insurance Service
A wheelchair may be temporarily required. 3. Make a reservation in advance by phone
– Main phone: 1577-1000 (Caller pays / Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00)
– Telephone numbers for each branch are not provided separately. You must call the main phone number and connect the desired branch.
– Advance reservations are not required, but it would be a good idea to make a reservation before visiting.
4. Visit the branch to receive
– You can come and pick it up during business hours (09:00~18:00).
– You only need to bring your ID.

1) If an extension is required, apply for an extension to the person in charge of the rental branch before the scheduled return date (up to 2 times per month)
2) Subjects excluded from assistive device rental
– In case of being hospitalized in a nursing institution and receiving treatment (immediately return the borrowed device)
– In case the same user applies for double rental of the same item
– In case the same user applies for re-rental of the same item within 6 months
