1. What is Dongbaek Pass?
The Dongbaek Pass, which is being implemented in Busan for the first time in the country, allows you to use Dongbaek Pass up to 90,000 won per month (up to 45,000 won) if you use city buses, village buses, urban railways, Gimhae Light Rail, and Donghae Line for more than 45,000 won per month. This is a system that provides a refund.

Eligibility: Anyone who uses Busan Metropolitan City’s public transportation using the Busan Bank Dongbaekjeon Check Card deferred transportation service (cannot be used if you do not have a smartphone in your name; available only to those who subscribe to the deferred transportation service; must be 18 years of age or older to make deposits, withdrawals, and deposits at Busan Bank) Account holding required)

3. Dongbaek Pass usage history and refund amount inquiry
After running the Dongbaekjeon app and selecting the Dongbaek Pass item, you can check your usage history and refund amount.
Public transportation refunds are scheduled to be paid on the 10th of the following month.
Since transportation card usage details are not real-time data, there may be differences from the actual amount. (If you check after 10 a.m. the next day, the usage details will be reflected.)
When I checked the expected refund amount, the refund amount for August was 39,700 won, and I could receive a refund of up to 45,000 won.

4. Dongbaek Pass main QnA
Q1. Can I use the Dongbaek Pass only with the Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation card?
A: When opening on August 1, only cards with the “postpaid transportation” function among Busan Bank Dongbaekjeon cards can apply for the benefit. Citizens who use Dongbaekjeon without the postpaid transportation function can issue a replacement. First, the Nonghyup Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation card is scheduled to be implemented in the future.
Q2. How do I issue a Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation card?
A: It can be issued immediately by visiting the nearest Busan Bank branch. You can also use the Dongbaekjeon app and it takes 4 to 7 days to be issued.
Q3. Can I use the Dongbaek Pass service just by holding the Dongbaekjeon Postpaid Transportation Card?
A: You must separately register for the Dongbaek Pass service on the Dongbaekjeon app after August 1st to use it.
Q4. What means of transportation are eligible for transportation fee refund?

A: Based on the monthly “Dongbaekjeon postpaid transportation card usage amount*”, if you use more than KRW 45,000 per month, a refund (policy subsidy) is calculated up to a maximum of KRW 45,000. ※ The usage amount is confirmed depending on the time the card company receives the transportation card usage details from the transportation service provider, and there may be differences from the customer’s actual usage time depending on the transportation service provider’s circumstances.
Q8. Can I pay for public transportation with Dongbaekjeon recharge?
A: Dongbaekjeon recharge cannot be used to pay for public transportation. Dongbaekjeon deferred transportation card payments will be debited from the linked account on the deferred payment repayment date in the same manner as before.
Q9. Can customers who do not have a 2G phone or a smartphone in their own name use the Dongbaek Pass service?
A: When implemented on August 1, customers who do not have a 2G phone or a smartphone in their name will not be able to use the Dongbaek Pass service. However, we plan to improve the service in the future so that they can use the service.
Q10. Can I receive a public transportation refund (policy subsidy) even if I cancel the Dongbaek Pass service early?
