As the number of dogs increases, the number of situations requiring emergency medical care continues to increase. According to the Animal Protection Management System operated by the Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Quarantine Headquarters, out of 5,186 animal hospitals nationwide, 160 provide 24-hour treatment. 24-hour veterinary hospitals that operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, often have good equipment and excellent staff, so their ability to respond to emergency situations is high.

1. Seoul area
Seoul, where the largest population of Korea lives, also has the largest number of dogs. Of the 160 hospitals nationwide, 43 are concentrated in Seoul, accounting for a high ratio of 26.8%, and the largest number of hospitals, 6, are located in Gangnam-gu.
