How to delete Netflix viewing history
Depending on what you want to delete, you can delete your viewing history from your computer or the Netflix mobile app. If you use Netflix on your computer, you can delete individual shows, movies, or entire records. The Netflix mobile app allows you to delete only one item at a time.
Deleted items do not immediately appear in ‘Next View’, but it may take up to 24 hours before similar titles are not recommended.
Delete Netflix viewing history from your computer
There are two ways to delete your Netflix viewing history. You can delete a program or movie directly from your feed by following these steps.
Log in to your account on your computer.
Go to the ‘Follow Up’ section.
Move the cursor to the program or movie you want to remove.
Click the Remove icon that appears.
Select the reason you want to remove the program or movie.
Follow these steps to determine which program or movie you want to delete by viewing the entire viewing history.
Log in to your account on your computer.
Click Profile Icon > Account in the upper right corner.
For profile and child protection, click the down arrow next to the profile.
Click View Activity.
The complete viewing history list is displayed.
Click the Remove icon next to the item you want to delete.
To delete all items, scroll down to the bottom, and then click Hide All.
