Gyeonggi-do conducts the Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Project with the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation. Selected young people can receive up to 5 million won per person. The ‘Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Project’ is a project to explore what you want to do and support the challenge process. This project will start in July by selecting a total of 600 people. Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Program application period and outline
– Application period: 2023.5.12 ~ 5.31 17:00
– Recruitment: Total 600 people (300 people for the 1st period, 300 people for the 2nd period)
– Support amount: Up to 5 million won per person
– Qualifications for application:
As of the announcement date, young people between the ages of 19 and 34 who have a resident registration address in Gyeonggi-do
Applicable as a team or individual (no limit on the number of people in a team)

Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Project Selection Procedure and Selection Announcement
– Selection Goal: Selection based on the value and willingness to try what you want to do

1st screening: document review (examination based on the contents of the application form and project plan)
2nd screening: interview screening (in-depth interview on the contents of the 1st document)

Be sure to select and apply for the 1st term 2nd term (duplicate application is not allowed)
If there is a discrepancy between the team leader and the team member’s application (number of students, project contents, etc.), the team leader’s submission is deemed to have been applied.

For all submitted documents, only those issued after the announcement date are valid.
The submitted idea or project must be a new project that has not been awarded or introduced in any other competition.
The legal responsibility for disputes caused by plagiarism or infringement of other people’s works during the project is the responsibility of the participant.
Submitted reports will not be returned, and if plagiarism, false information, or other fraudulent methods are later discovered during the application stage, if the selection support fund is used for a purpose other than the intended purpose, the selection of participants may be canceled, the support fund returned, and legal action may be taken.
Intellectual property rights and copyrights for the outputs resulting from participation belong to Gyeonggi-do, and if participants need to use them for other purposes, Gyeonggi-do and participants must mutually agree.
Gyeonggi Youth Gap Year Business Program Operation Plan
search and discovery
– A common program for participants is operated, and job duties, aptitude tests, capacity building training, mentoring, group networking operation, and detailed project design are supported.
– Schedule: 1st term: 7.10 ~ 7.28, 2nd term: 8.8 ~ 8.25
– Venue: It is operated at campuses in 4 regions (East, West, South, North) in the province and operates in groups of 1 to 2 per region with no more than 50 students per group, and weekday/weekend classes are selectable.

Week 1: Team building, strength discovery process, self-analysis workshop
Week 2~3: Topic confirmation, data collection, plan establishment, opinion collection, feasibility review

Career: Publishing magazines catering to the tastes of the MZ generation, farming critter for urban-rural coexistence, publishing autobiography, etc.
Entrepreneurship: clothing platform production, chat GPT related program development, personal branding, etc.
Society: Projects for discovering and solving local problems, etc.
Others: Audit production to hear without seeing, etc.

Project subsidy: Based on 3 million won per person, up to 5 million won for actual expenses depending on the results of the interim inspection
Customized mentor support for each project, project execution support through communication between participants and mentors

– Subject to additional points: Choose 1 from among recipients of basic livelihood security, the next lowest class, and children whose protection has ended (young people preparing for self-reliance)
– Submission of supporting documents: Submit after the announcement of successful applicants for the 1st document screening (schedule will be notified separately)
– How to apply additional points: No priority for each category, applied once per team without duplicate points
