How to calculate and pay extra premium
Extra payment insurance premium = “currently announced pension insurance premium × number of months to be paid extra”

If the current monthly insurance premium is KRW 180,000 (including company contributions) and you wish to make an additional payment for only 60 months out of 120 additional months, an additional payment of KRW 180,000 × 60 months → KRW 10.8 million is calculated.

For this reason, the National Pension Service allows installments of up to 60 installments, depending on the period subject to additional payment.

How to apply for extra payment
