Notice
You must carry it along with your passport and Korean driver’s license.
If the spelling of the English name on the passport does not match, the validity of the international driver’s license cannot be recognized.
Even if the international driver’s license is valid, it will not be valid if one year has elapsed since entry into Korea according to the contents of the international agreement and the laws of the country concerned.
If you apply for issuance of an international driver’s license while your domestic driver’s license is suspended, an international driver’s license valid for one year will be issued from the day after the suspension period ends.

I got it from Namdaemun Police Station, a police station in front of Seoul Station.
The last time I traveled to Japan, I came to issue an international driver’s license. I remember being able to get issued very quickly, so I visited again.

Even if you have an English driver’s license, it seems that it cannot be used in all countries.
If you plan to drive in a country other than the countries listed below, you must issue an international driver’s license.
