This is information on the Climate Companion Card, which is scheduled to be launched in earnest after pilot operation from January to May 2024. There are two ways to use it. One is through a mobile app and the other is by using a physical card. The monthly application amount is 65,000. It’s a circle
Using a mobile app: You must install the Seoul Transportation Card app. After installing the app, you must register a payment method and mobile phone number.
Using a physical card: You can get one at subway stations, 25 autonomous district offices, Seoul City Hall, etc., but you will need your ID card and an issuance fee of 3,000 won to get it issued.
First of all, the trial operation is only available for Android phones.
How to use and section
Seoul subway: All subways on Lines 1 to 9 in Seoul can be used, including the Bundang Line, Uisinseol Line, Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and Sillim Line (if you board and get off in Seoul, you can get off in other areas such as Gyeonggi or Incheon). However, it cannot be used when riding in areas other than Seoul)
Bus: Both city buses and village buses in Seoul can use the Gifu Donghaeng Card. However, buses from other regions such as Gyeonggi or Incheon or metropolitan buses with different basic fares cannot be used even within Seoul city.
Public bicycle: Unlimited use of the public bicycle Ttareungi is available for 1 hour.
Eco-friendly transportation: They plan to expand to include eco-friendly transportation such as river buses.
