1. How to search for a case if you know the case number

②: Year

(Usually stated in the complaint or preparatory document)
③: Select the case classification number
ex) Ga-dan, Deu-dan, Mo, etc.
④ Remaining case number
ex) 2022 Mo 00000
⑤ Name of the litigating party
: Enter two or more characters
⑥ Enter the anti-spam characters
If you enter it correctly, you can view the case details.
2. How to search with a public certificate
“I don’t know the case number?”
If you are a party to the lawsuit,
you can search with [your public certificate].

After selecting search with certificate,
enter your resident registration number and confirm with the certificate,
you can confirm.

However, if you do not select the jurisdictional court and case type (civil, domestic, application, etc.)
correctly, you will not be able to find your case even if you use the certificate^^;
Also, certificate search is not possible on mobile.
3. How to search for escrow cases

you can see that you can also search for escrow cases separately.

After the deposit is made,
a case number is assigned in the form of 2022 금제0000,
and if you know the case number, the parties, and the resident registration number,
you can search for the deposit case.
4. How to search for court auction cases

and then go to the Court Auction Information website
and search for auction cases,
or you can go directly to the auction case website and do it.

5. How to search a case with a receipt for delivery fee payment
If you are a plaintiff who filed a lawsuit,
In the case of electronic litigation,
the case number is assigned immediately when you file the case,
but if you proceed with a lawsuit in writing (on paper),
you cannot know the case number and progress status.
In this case, you can check the case number with the bank number for the delivery fee prepayment.

6. How to check the case progress
The following is how to view the case progress history if the case search is successful.
(Using very old case search history as an example)

sent to (by the court) on what month and date
and when it arrived (the day the mail was received) ~

If you click on it, you can see that the notice of the trial date was delivered to

and received by the plaintiff ‘me’
Then, if you select the Defendant 2 arrival box,
you can see that Defendant 2’s cohabitant (spouse) received it ~
Usually, in cases where there are multiple defendants,
it is displayed as Defendant 1 000, Defendant 2 ㅁㅁㅁ,
and if you look closely, you can see that it was not delivered to Defendant 1,
so it was delivered by (public notice).

Like this, if you look at the case progress in detail,
you can learn a lot about the trial progress!
Of course, the lawyer in charge knows best how the argument proceeds,
but even if you have delegated the case to a specialist,
it is a good idea to search by case number.
You can check the trial progress status, such as when the lawyer submitted the preparatory statement,
when the next trial date (argument date),
and when the sentencing date is,
without having to call.
