When purchasing a new car, many things are taken into consideration. First, you select a car model that fits your purchase budget and then check the design and various convenience features. And the car brand is also an important factor in choosing.
However, the thing that concerns me the most when purchasing and driving a vehicle is the service center. Especially if you own a foreign vehicle, it is quite inconvenient if it takes a long time to visit a service center and receive repairs during the warranty period.
In the past, some people hesitated to buy a new Volvo car because they heard that the car was good but the service was poor, but now the number of official service centers across the country has increased to 28.
Nowadays, it seems that no one hesitates to purchase a Volvo vehicle because of the service center. Instead, even if you sign a contract for a new car, the waiting period is so long that people who have reached the end of their vehicle replacement cycle cannot sign a contract.
It is a vehicle that is very popular, but its main drawback is that it is not in stock.

Type and period of warranty
The warranty period applies from the date of shipment of the new vehicle, and the period or mileage, whichever comes first, is considered the expiration of the warranty period.
General warranty
▶All parts excluding consumables: within 3 years or 60,000km
▶Battery: Within 2 years or 40,000km
▶Hybrid vehicle high-voltage battery: within 5 years or 100,000km

Emission-related parts warranty
▶Emission-related parts: Within 5 years or 80,000km
▶Catalyst for purification, exhaust gas filter, electronic control unit (applies to engine control unit only): Within 7 years or 120,000km

What is excluded from the warranty
Even if it is within the warranty period, warranty is not provided in the following cases.
▶Regular inspection: Inspections that must be performed regularly according to the regular inspection list, including all matters for normal vehicle management, such as fuel system cleaning, front wheel alignment, wheel balance, and brake inspection and adjustment.
▶Consumables: Consumables required for vehicle operation, such as spark plugs, clutch discs, brake linings, nozzles, glow plugs, fuses, wiper blades, belts, filters, rubber products, light bulbs, and oil, require regular replacement to maintain the vehicle. Loha is a consumable part
▶Non-compliance with regular inspection and usage instructions: Malfunctions caused by failure to comply with the inspection and maintenance intervals and instructions specified in the user manual issued by our company.
▶Non-genuine products and use of third-party companies: Damage caused by failure to repair at our company’s designated service center or use of our company’s genuine parts.
▶Use of external oil: Malfunction caused by using oil other than the maintenance oil (oil, antifreeze) specified by our company, or malfunction due to non-compliance with oil change cycle or non-replenishment.
▶ Modifications not approved by the manufacturer: Modifications, changes, or failures caused by external attachments (black boxes, etc.) that affect the performance of the vehicle.
▶Owner’s fault and natural disasters: Malfunction due to excessive operation of the vehicle, excess load, careless handling, delayed repairs, accidents, and natural disasters.
▶Defective fuel: Malfunction caused by using defective fuel
▶Indirect costs: Indirect costs excluding the cost of parts and labor for warranty repairs. In other words, costs incurred such as transportation, accommodation, loss of service, taxes, etc.
▶Driving manipulation: When the odometer is broken or altered and the accurate driving distance cannot be determined.
▶Mild abnormality: Sensory abnormality that is recognized as having no effect on general quality and function, i.e., symptoms such as light noise, noise, vibration, etc., or symptoms caused by material characteristics such as wrinkles in natural leather.
▶General loss, scrap vehicle not covered by warranty:
– A vehicle that has been determined to be a total loss by the insurance company.
– Vehicles reconditioned after being declared a total loss by the insurance company
