If a person who is expected to pass the level 1 social worker exam (passed the written exam) fails to submit the application qualification documents and fails the review, he/she will be disqualified from the exam and the written exam pass will be invalidated.
You can check whether you have passed the level 1 social worker exam through the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.
Application for examination of qualification documents and application for issuance of social worker level 1 certificate are different. After the final successful candidate is announced, you must apply for a social worker level 1 certificate, and the certificate issuance date is the date of granting the qualification number (the date of issuance is not the date of passing the exam).
Please fill out the certification application form online, print out the application form, and send it to the city/provincial social worker association along with the required application documents.
Please deposit the issuance fee and membership fee to the city/provincial social workers association account.
(The name on the submitted documents must be the same as the name on the ‘Alien Registration Facts’ or ‘Domestic Residence Report for Overseas Koreans’)
