In areas designated as child protection zones, speed is restricted more strictly than on general roads. The speed limit in the child protection zone is 30 km. Last summer, the National Police Agency distributed a press release announcing the full implementation of the ‘Children’s Protection Zone Part-Time Speed Limit’, which operates different speed regulations for each time zone.
