2. How to issue a driving record certificate online (Police Civil Complaint Portal, Government 24)
There are two ways to issue a driving experience certificate online. It can be issued from the police complaint portal website or the Government 24 website. Since the online issuance method is very convenient and simple, it would be a good idea to use it unless you have difficulty printing because you do not have a printer or cannot use a computer or mobile phone.
1) Police complaint portal website
1-1) Select [Driving Experience Certificate] at the bottom of the police complaint portal. Internet issuance of driving experience certificates is supported in two services: Korean and English.
1-2) When you click apply, only a joint certificate will be issued. If you do not have a joint certificate, it will be difficult to proceed further, so you must go to the Government 24 website to obtain one.
1-3) When the Terms of Use appear, select Agree to all at the top, scroll down, and press the OK button to proceed to the next step.
1-4) When the Internet Issuance of Driving Experience Certificate screen appears, the applicant’s name, resident registration number, driver’s license, and address are displayed at the top. After setting the driver’s license history, law violation history, and traffic accident history that should be displayed on the driving history certificate, select a specific period or all. You can write the reason for issuance according to your purpose. If you do not write the reason for issuance, the application itself will not be processed, so please write it at least briefly.
1-5) Once the application is completed, the screen moves to the civil complaint application details, and you can view the civil complaint application status and application details on that screen. To proceed with the online issuance of a driving record certificate, click on the name of the civil service office and go to the civil service application details.
1-6) Check the application details and press the print button. The printing screen will appear in a new window. Select the printer button in the top right. You can print it directly on a printer or save it as a PDF.
2) Government 24 website
2-1) Select [Go to Government 24 Internet Simple Issuance] below to go to the Government 24 driving experience certificate issuance application menu.
2-2) If you have an ID, click Apply for Membership. If you do not have an ID, click Apply as Non-Member.
2-3) Click Apply as a Non-Member, enter your personal information, and click the Confirm button. [Non-members may use the service only if they agree to the collection and use of personal information and unique identification information.]
2-4) Select the driving experience certificate issuance type (Korean or English), check the applicant, desired period, application details (reason for issuance), receipt method, etc., and then click Apply for Civil Complaint at the bottom left.
2-5) For identity verification, you can choose between simple authentication such as Naver, Kakao, Pass, etc., or joint and financial certificates.
