통영 한달살기Living in Tongyeong for a month
hello. This is Seungwoo’s father. A one-month living program has begun in Tongyeong, Gyeongsangnam-do. After going on a summer vacation through a week-long program every year, I have become more interested in local government programs for a week and a month, so when I get the chance, I apply and receive support for vacation expenses.
If you are eligible, it would be a good idea to apply.
It is located between 128°07′∼128°44′E and 34°30′∼34°58′N. The administrative district consists of 1 eup, 6 myeons, and 11 dongs. The total length of the coastline is 617km, and there are a total of 150 attached islands, including 41 inhabited islands and 109 uninhabited islands.

Tongyeong, where you will be captivated by the taste of art and food. It is widely known as a place full of beautiful natural scenery, such as the treasure-like Seomyokjido Island and the Jangsado Marine Park embracing the sea, but it is also a place where the poet Baekseok passed by and the footsteps of novelist Park Gyeong-ni, whose hometown is Tongyeong, are buried.
Chungmu gimbap, which has become a specialty of Tongyeong, and the representative snack honey bread are must-have dishes on the list of main dishes when traveling to Tongyeong.

Travel period: 2023. 4. 1. (Sat.) ~ 2023. 5. 31. (Wed.) (2 nights or more, 29 nights or less, participant’s choice)
– Residents outside the Gyeongnam region as of the date of announcement (age 19 or older) * Submit a copy of resident registration – Those who have a strong will to travel to Tongsi and are able to promote local tourism resources through personal SNS, etc. – Individual independent travel while staying in Tongsi, tourism resources, etc. Experience local culture, arts, historical resources, festivals, etc. and promote them on personal SNS – Tongyeong tourism souvenirs will be given to 10 people with excellent SNS promotion effects among the participants of the 2023 ‘Tongyeongae Onna (one month travel in Gyeongnam)’ ( (Scheduled for December after project completion)

Selection criteria: Select those with the highest scores after evaluating each item.
※ Please note that if any of the additional score recipients is found to have submitted false documents or failed to comply with their travel plans, the support fund will not be paid to the participant.
Selection announcement: March 20, 2023 (Monday). Scheduled (Tongyeong City website and individual notification)
Application conditions: At least 2 posts per day on SNS for each participant
※ Video content (over 5 minutes) such as YouTube and story-type blogs are posted 1 to 3 times compared to the entire period.
– 1 case for 6 nights or less, 2 cases for 7 to 13 nights, 3 cases for 14 nights or more.
– For SNS influencers with more than 10,000 subscribers, one piece of video and blog content will be relaxed if the stay is more than 7 nights.
– When posting content on SNS, it is required to include #Tongyeong, #TongyeongAeOnna, and #visitplace.
Accommodation fee within 50,000 won/day (per team, 1-2 people), experience fee (50,000-80,000 won per person)
– Accommodation expenses: Support for up to 29 nights per team, actual expenses within the range of 50,000 won per day *Accommodation facilities are chosen by participants (there are no restrictions on business types such as tourist hotels, tourist pensions, rural lodgings, etc., but excludes unregistered companies)
– Experience fee: KRW 50,000 (less than 7 nights), KRW 80,000 (more than 7 nights) per person. Actual cost support/entrance fees to tourist attractions, etc. and various experience programs that can be promoted as Tongyeong’s tourist resources (participant’s responsibility, including food and transportation expenses)
*The experience fee is per person during the entire travel period. If the participant participates with a child under the age of 19, accommodation and experience fees are not supported for the child under the age of 19.
** Accommodation expenses are paid to the team representative, and experience expenses are provided individually.
Support method: Post-settlement within the scope of support
– Participants must submit promotional reports, card (cash) receipts, and bankbook copies within 15 days after the end of the trip (submit by mail)
* Simple receipts, general receipts, and tickets are not accepted.
– After checking the supporting materials, remit the support amount by the 20th of the month following the date of application.
* This project supports individual independent travel, and participants must make all travel preparations, including lodging reservations. (Materials for reference in preparation for travel, such as tourist guidebooks and maps, will be sent by mail)
